Approved for use in organic agriculture in accordance with the Organic Production and Processing Standard, which is equivalent to EU Regulation No 834/2007 and No 889/2008 (Certificate "Organic Standard" No 17-0529-02 dated 13.09.2017).

The Role of Manganese in Mineral Nutrition of Plants
Manganese participates in photosynthesis, synthesis, and activation of chlorophyll, protein exchange, synthesis of vitamin C (ascorbic acid), and promotes the accumulation of sugar.
Extremely important is the role of manganese in the mineral nutrition of winter crops in autumn and early spring, when plants cannot absorb ammonia forms of nitrogen. Adequate manganese nutrition of cereal crops during this period protects plants from so-called "ammonia poisoning".
Most soils in Ukraine contain sufficient amounts of available manganese, but its deficiency can manifest itself in light (sandy) soils, where it is prone to leaching from the upper layers of the soil. Chernozem and chernozem-carbonate soils with neutral or alkaline reaction often suffer from manganese deficiency. Manganese deficiency can also manifest itself after liming and during drought.
Deficiency symptoms in plants are different. In cereals, dark green spots and stripes appear on the leaves. In potatoes, the surface of the leaf becomes uneven - the veins remain at the bottom, and the interveinal space rises. In cucumbers, young leaves become light green, and at the edges, they become yellowish. Later, the process covers the entire leaf plate, and the veins remain bright green. In table beets, leaves become dark red. The highest effect of manganese fertilizers is achieved on sugar beet, potato, and vegetable crops, in gardens.
