In 2026 sunflower needs special attention from the very first stages of development. In the early stages it is important to supply the crop with available boron and with elements that stimulate the formation of a powerful root system and help the plant adapt faster to stress conditions.
In the 3–5 leaf pair stage sunflower actively forms its root and quickly increases its vegetative part. In this period boron plays a key role in the development of the growing point and conducting tissues and in the uptake of nutrients.
