+4.9 c/ha to the yield: the result of a real field trial

Can seed treatment affect the further development of winter wheat? We tested this directly in the field.

In a winter wheat trial we compared an untreated-seed control with the following treatment variant:

• GROS Rootgrowth — 1.0 l/t + ECOLINE Phosphite (K) — 0.5 l/t

Already at the interim assessment the plants in the treated variant showed more active development, greater vegetative mass and more intensive tillering.

And most importantly, the result we see in the yield: the treated variant gave 67.2 c/ha against 62.3 c/ha in the control. That is +4.9 c/ha compared with the control.
